From a 2025 Suzuki to a Mercedes GLE: Park Village national webcast vehicle auction brings a remarkably varied line-up

Park Village Auctions is preparing for its next National Vehicle Auction on Wednesday, 7 October, and a look through the catalogue reveals a sale that stretches across almost every corner of the used vehicle market.
The 58-lot webcast auction brings together vehicles from Standard Bank, ABSA Bank, liquidators and other financial houses, with bidding taking place entirely online.
What makes this catalogue interesting is just how varied the stock is. At one end are newer, everyday vehicles including a 2025 Suzuki Celerio 1.0 GL with just 17,381 km displayed, two 2025 Suzuki S-Presso models and a 2025 Citroën C3. There is also a 2024 Toyota Corolla Cross 1.8 XS Hybrid and a 2024 Mini Cooper S.
Then the catalogue takes a noticeable step upmarket.
A 2019 Mercedes-Benz GLE 400d 4Matic, 2020 Mercedes-Benz V300d Exclusive, Mercedes-Benz GLC Coupé and BMW X3 and X5 all feature, giving buyers looking beyond the usual bank auction stock quite a bit to work through.
There is even something for the enthusiast. A 2021 Hyundai i30 N 2.0T GDI, showing 58,893 km, appears among the lots, alongside the Mini Cooper S and BMW 420d Coupé.
Bakkies make up another significant part of the sale. The catalogue includes several Ford Rangers, ranging from single and Super Cab workhorses through to a 2022 Ranger Bi-Turbo Stormtrak and 2021 Wildtrak. A 2025 Isuzu D-Max 1.9 Ddi LS automatic extended cab, Toyota Hilux models, Mahindra Pik Up and 2025 GWM P-Series also feature.
The Park Village National Vehicle Auction starts at 10:00 on Wednesday, 7 October 2026 and will be conducted by webcast, with no physical attendance on auction day.
For buyers considering finance, Auction Finance can assist with pre-approved finance on qualifying vehicles, subject to normal credit and lender criteria.

Standard Bank vehicle disposal sale returns online this October

Another round of Standard Bank vehicles is heading to online auction, with Liquidity Services South Africa opening its latest monthly vehicle disposal sale to buyers across the country.

The Standard Bank Vehicle Disposal Sale 43 is being conducted entirely online through AllSurplus, with bidding currently underway and the sale closing on Thursday, 8 October 2026.

For buyers who regularly follow bank vehicle auctions, these monthly disposal sales provide another opportunity to keep an eye on vehicles entering the auction market without having to attend a physical auction floor.

The online format also changes the way buyers approach the sale. Rather than everything happening during a short live auction, prospective buyers have time to work through the available lots, look at the individual vehicle information and decide which vehicles warrant closer consideration before the sale closes.

As always, buyers should pay close attention to the information supplied against each individual lot and familiarise themselves with the auctioneer’s conditions before bidding.

For buyers who intend using finance, Auction Finance can assist with pre-approved finance on qualifying vehicles, subject to normal credit and lender criteria. Getting the finance process underway before the auction closes can help buyers establish their position before committing to a bid.

WesBank Exclusive Auction heads to Cape Town this October

Cape Town vehicle buyers have another big date on the October auction calendar, with the WesBank Exclusive Live On-Site & Online Auction taking place in Epping 2 on Wednesday, 7 October.

Hosted by WH Auctioneers, the latest catalogue brings together a broad mix of vehicles, from late-model hatchbacks and family SUVs to bakkies, premium German models and some vehicles aimed at buyers prepared to take on a project.

Among the newest vehicles listed is a 2025 Suzuki Ertiga 1.5 GL automatic, alongside a 2025 Mahindra Pik Up 2.2 mHawk S4 single cab and several 2025 Volkswagen Polo Vivo models.

There are some particularly interesting low-mileage entries too. A 2023 Chery Tiggo 4 Pro 1.5T Elite is listed with just 9,880 km, while a 2025 Volkswagen Polo Vivo 1.4 Life shows just over 20,000 km.
SUV buyers have plenty to look through, including a 2023 Hyundai Tucson 2.0 Premium automatic, 2023 Volkswagen T-Roc, Toyota Urban Cruiser and Chery Tiggo models.

The bakkie selection stretches from Ford Rangers and Mahindra Pik Ups to practical single-cab workhorses, while a 2016 Ford Ranger 3.2 TDCi Wildtrak automatic double cab adds something different to the mix.

There is premium stock as well. An Audi A4 35 TFSI Advanced features in the catalogue, together with an Audi A5 Sportback and other vehicles spanning a wide range of ages and mileage.
Not everything on the floor is conventional retail-ready stock, and that is part of what makes an auction catalogue interesting. Several vehicles are specifically disclosed with damage, mechanical issues or as non-runners, giving buyers with different budgets and requirements another section of the sale to explore. As always, individual vehicles should be inspected before bidding.

Buyers can view the vehicles at 17 Dacres Avenue, Epping 2, Cape Town, from 09:00 to 16:00 on Monday, 5 October and Tuesday, 6 October.

The WesBank Exclusive Auction gets underway at 10:30 on Wednesday, 7 October, with buyers able to participate live on-site or online.

For those considering finance, Auction Finance can assist with pre-approved finance on qualifying vehicles, subject to normal credit and lender criteria.

Bloemfontein, Standard Bank & MFC Bank vehicle auction brings everything from 2025 vehicles to heavy commercial trucks.

Aucor Auctioneers Bloemfontein is preparing a particularly varied bank vehicle auction for Thursday, 8 October, with Standard Bank and MFC stock ranging from everyday passenger cars and SUVs to late-model bakkies and heavy commercial vehicles.

The live on-site and webcast auction starts at 10:30, and a look through the catalogue shows why this is more than a conventional passenger vehicle sale.

Among the newer vehicles heading under the hammer is a 2025 Ford Ranger 2.0D XL automatic double cab, joined by a 2025 Volkswagen Polo 1.0 TSI and a 2024 Ford Puma 1.0T EcoBoost Titanium automatic.

The bakkie selection extends considerably further. Buyers will find a 2024 GWM P-Series 2.0TD Black Edition 4x4, a 2023 Mitsubishi Triton 2.4 Di-DC Xtreme automatic double cab, a 2022 Mahindra Pik Up S6 Karoo automatic and a 2023 Kia K2700 Workhorse, among others.

For buyers looking at SUVs and crossovers, the catalogue includes a 2023 BMW X3 xDrive20d M Sport, 2023 Haval H6 GT 2.0T Super Luxury 4x4, 2022 Chery Tiggo 4 Pro, Nissan X-Trail, Renault Duster and Hyundai Creta.

There are some interesting performance and premium vehicles in the mix too, including a 2022 Volkswagen Golf 8 GTI, 2020 Golf 7 GTI, Mercedes-Benz V250d Avantgarde and Audi A4. A separate non-runner section also contains vehicles ranging from an Audi S6 and A7 to a Jaguar XF and Mercedes-Benz ML350.

Importantly, buyers should pay attention to how the catalogue is structured. Aucor clearly separates the runners from the non-runners, so prospective bidders should check the individual lot information and inspect vehicles before bidding rather than assuming condition from the model or year alone.

The auction also moves beyond passenger vehicles. A dedicated commercial section includes Mercedes-Benz Actros double-axle horses, a Mercedes-Benz flat-deck truck and Mitsubishi Fuso commercial vehicle, giving businesses another reason to look through the catalogue.

Viewing takes place at 1 Kruger Avenue, Estoire, Bloemfontein on Tuesday, 6 October and Wednesday, 7 October from 08:00 to 17:00. Pre-bidding opens at 14:00 on Wednesday before the live auction and webcast begin at 10:30 on Thursday.

For buyers considering finance on qualifying vehicles or commercial assets, Auction Finance can assist with pre-approval ahead of the auction, subject to normal credit and lender criteria.

Late-model ABSA fleet heads to auction with 2025 vehicles and low-mileage stock

A notably late-model selection of bank fleet vehicles is heading to auction in October, with Riley Auctions Africa preparing to sell an ABSA fleet located across Gauteng, KwaZulu-Natal, Cape Town and Gqeberha.

The timed online auction opens on Thursday, 8 October and begins closing from 10:00 on Friday, 9 October 2026. What makes this particular sale stand out is the age and mileage of some of the vehicles appearing in the catalogue.

Among the most prominent entries is a sizeable selection of Haval H6 2.0T Luxury 4x4 DCT models. The catalogue includes both 2024 and 2025 examples, with several of the 2025 vehicles showing less than 30,000 km. One is listed with just 17,292 km displayed.
Also attracting attention are three 2025 Omoda C9 2.0T Inspire models with particularly low displayed mileage. Riley Auctions Africa lists the three vehicles at just 3,450 km, 2,677 km and 2,199 km respectively.

The catalogue broadens from there. Five 2025 Suzuki Ciaz 1.5 GL automatics are listed, with displayed mileages ranging from 14,760 km to 22,115 km, while a 2024 Volkswagen T-Roc 1.4 TSI Design Tiptronic also forms part of the line-up.

Another interesting feature of this auction is its national footprint. Rather than all the vehicles being held at a single auction yard, the ABSA fleet is spread across four viewing locations: Samrand Business Park in Centurion, Isipingo in Durban, Montague Gardens in Cape Town and Overbaakens in Gqeberha.

Prospective buyers can inspect vehicles by appointment from 5 to 7 October, between 09:00 and 15:00, before bidding gets underway online.

For buyers looking for newer used vehicles, the concentration of recent-model stock makes this a catalogue worth exploring. As with any auction purchase, buyers should inspect the vehicle they are interested in and review the individual lot information and auction conditions before bidding.

For buyers considering finance, Auction Finance can assist with applications on qualifying vehicles, subject to normal credit and lender criteria. Getting finance assessed ahead of the auction can help buyers understand their position before placing a bid.

Strong agricultural line-up heads to auction between Lichtenburg and Koster

Farmers and agricultural businesses in North West will have a sizeable selection of machinery and equipment to consider when Brocor Auctions brings the Grootpan sale to auction on Thursday, 8 October.

Taking place at Du Preez Landgoed between Lichtenburg and Koster, the auction brings together tractors, planting and harvesting equipment, agricultural implements, trucks, bakkies and other farm assets in one substantial agricultural sale.

A look through the catalogue shows that this is considerably more than a small farm clearance. Among the tractor line-up is a 2019 Case Magnum 380, together with a New Holland T7040, John Deere 6820, 6630 and 6125M, and a Massey Ferguson 6475.

The implement selection is equally broad. Two John Deere 1720 planters feature in the catalogue, including a 16-row unit with a precision system, alongside a 2025 Massey Ferguson 1840, Claas Disco 320 mower, Unia round baler, Challenger sprayer and a range of tillage, fertiliser and planting equipment.

There is heavier equipment too, including a 2011 SEM 639 front-end loader, while the wider sale extends into vehicles and livestock transport with a Ford F-Series and double-axle cattle trailer also appearing in the catalogue.

That mix is what makes this auction interesting. Instead of concentrating on one type of asset, it gives farmers and agricultural businesses an opportunity to look across several areas of an operation, from tractors and planting equipment to spraying, loading, transport and general implements, in a single sale.

The Grootpan auction takes place at 10:00 on Thursday, 8 October 2026 at Du Preez Landgoed, between Lichtenburg and Koster, with Brocor Auctions conducting the sale.

For buyers considering finance, Auction Finance can assist with finance applications on qualifying assets, subject to normal credit and lender criteria. Buyers interested in financing an auction purchase are encouraged to speak to us before bidding.

HEAVY MACHINERY LINE-UP PUTS KZN AUCTION ON THE RADAR THIS OCTOBER

KwaZulu-Natal’s construction and transport sectors will have a sizeable line-up of equipment to consider next week, as a major mixed auction brings construction plant, trucks, trailers and vehicles to Shakaskraal on Tuesday, 6 October.

The sale, being conducted by WH Auctioneers on behalf of WesBank, Capitec and liquidators, stands out particularly for the depth of heavy construction equipment heading under the hammer.

Among the headline lots are several unused 2026 machines, including JCB JS205 and JCB 215 excavators, a Hyundai R210 excavator, Hyundai R340L, Kobelco SK380XDLC-10 and a SEM 920F grader with ripper.

They will be joined by established heavy-equipment names including a 2022 Caterpillar 140GC grader, Caterpillar 320D excavator, Caterpillar 349D2 and Volvo EC240BLC, giving contractors and plant operators a considerable range to work through before auction day.

And this isn't exclusively a yellow-metal sale.
The wider catalogue stretches across TLBs, wheel loaders, rollers, tipper trucks, truck tractors, trailers, forklifts, tractors, generators, rollbacks and lowbeds, together with vehicles, containers, solar equipment and tools.

Truck buyers can also expect names including Mercedes-Benz, MAN, Scania, Isuzu and FAW amongst the broader line-up.
For KZN buyers, the auction is also another sign of a growing auction presence in the region from WH Auctioneers. While WH is not new to KZN, its regional auction programme is still relatively young, and its recent sales have increasingly brought substantial commercial and industrial stock into the local auction calendar.

The assets can be inspected at WH KZN, Woodmead Industrial Park in Shakaskraal, with viewing available on Friday, 2 October and Monday, 5 October from 09:00 to 16:00.

Bidding gets underway at 10:30 on Tuesday, 6 October, with buyers able to participate either live or online.

For businesses considering qualifying trucks, vehicles or equipment, pre-approved finance is accepted at the auction. Auction Finance can assist buyers in establishing their finance position before bidding, subject to the asset and normal credit criteria.
