Late-model ABSA fleet heads to auction with 2025 vehicles and low-mileage stock

A notably late-model selection of bank fleet vehicles is heading to auction in October, with Riley Auctions Africa preparing to sell an ABSA fleet located across Gauteng, KwaZulu-Natal, Cape Town and Gqeberha.

The timed online auction opens on Thursday, 8 October and begins closing from 10:00 on Friday, 9 October 2026. What makes this particular sale stand out is the age and mileage of some of the vehicles appearing in the catalogue.

Among the most prominent entries is a sizeable selection of Haval H6 2.0T Luxury 4x4 DCT models. The catalogue includes both 2024 and 2025 examples, with several of the 2025 vehicles showing less than 30,000 km. One is listed with just 17,292 km displayed.
Also attracting attention are three 2025 Omoda C9 2.0T Inspire models with particularly low displayed mileage. Riley Auctions Africa lists the three vehicles at just 3,450 km, 2,677 km and 2,199 km respectively.

The catalogue broadens from there. Five 2025 Suzuki Ciaz 1.5 GL automatics are listed, with displayed mileages ranging from 14,760 km to 22,115 km, while a 2024 Volkswagen T-Roc 1.4 TSI Design Tiptronic also forms part of the line-up.

Another interesting feature of this auction is its national footprint. Rather than all the vehicles being held at a single auction yard, the ABSA fleet is spread across four viewing locations: Samrand Business Park in Centurion, Isipingo in Durban, Montague Gardens in Cape Town and Overbaakens in Gqeberha.

Prospective buyers can inspect vehicles by appointment from 5 to 7 October, between 09:00 and 15:00, before bidding gets underway online.
